What Is NET

A mind-body technique, not talk therapy.

NeuroEmotional Technique blends chiropractic, principles from Traditional Chinese Medicine, and psychology to identify and clear Neuro-Emotional Complexes, unresolved emotional patterns stored in the body that can show up as physical symptoms.

Using manual muscle testing, we identify emotional stressors connected to your condition. You're gently guided to recall a related memory while a spinal correction is performed, allowing your nervous system to release the pattern and return to balance. You don't need to become a therapy client. It works with the intelligence your body already has.

What's Possible

How members describe feeling after NET care.

Every person's experience is different, but these are the shifts we hear about most.

๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿฝ

Calmer, More Centered

A settled nervous system, less reactive to everyday stress.

๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ

Adjustments Hold Longer

When the emotional layer releases, spinal corrections stop fighting against stored tension.

๐ŸŒ™

Better Sleep

A regulated nervous system is a nervous system that can finally rest.

๐Ÿฉน

Chronic Pain That Finally Shifts

Pain that hasn't responded to conventional care often has an emotional component underneath it.

๐Ÿ”—

Clarity on Mind-Body Connection

A tangible sense of how emotions, thoughts, and physical symptoms are connected, not separate.

โœจ

Active Participation in Healing

Members leave sessions understanding their own body, not just receiving a treatment.

Research That Supports What We See

This isn't just a feeling. It shows up on scans.

NET has been studied in peer-reviewed research and by the ONE Research Foundation, using fMRI and heart rate monitoring to measure what happens in the body before and after treatment.

Brain Activity, Before & After

Published fMRI research examined patients with traumatic stress symptoms. Scans taken while patients re-experienced a traumatic memory showed active parahippocampal regions, the brain's threat-response center. After a course of NET, the same recall no longer triggered that activation; the parahippocampal area had normalized.

Heart Rate Reactivity, Before & After

In an 11-minute monitored protocol, patients were guided through neutral and then distressing memories while heart rate was tracked. Before NET, distressing recall triggered a sharp heart rate spike. After treatment, the same verbal cues produced a dramatically smaller response.

Illustration of heart rate reactivity before and after NET treatment

Illustrative recreation of the reported pattern: before NET, recalling a distressing memory drives a sharp heart rate spike. After NET, the same memory produces a markedly smaller response. Not the original study data.

Researchers found that NET-based treatment changed how the brain's stress-response regions connect, and measurably reduced the body's reactivity to traumatic memories.

Written By Our Own Dr. Vero

The Power of NeuroEmotional Technique in Chiropractic Care

Dr. Vero authored a feature article on NET for the Georgia Chiropractic Association's Winter 2026 magazine.

In the article, Dr. Vero explains chiropractic's "Three T's" of subluxation: Trauma, Toxins, and Thoughts, and makes the case that unresolved emotional stress, the "Thoughts" component, is often the silent driver behind physical dysfunction that doesn't respond to structural care alone.

She shares a case from her own practice: a member with weekly migraines for over a decade, unresolved by medical testing or conventional chiropractic care. During an NET session, she connected her migraines to unresolved grief over her father's passing. After three NET sessions addressing that emotional memory, her migraines dropped sharply in both frequency and intensity.

"Adjustments hold better, symptoms resolve more completely." That's what happens, she writes, once the emotional layer is addressed.
